current projects..

A guideposts sweater in bright microfiber- pink & green. size small.

A Debbie Bliss Cashmerino scarlet swatch that is going to Australia's Gold Coast.

The same yarn... I've got three delightful balls of it... that need to become something. One stretch of yarn has been knit four times..Bad swatch. Good idea, bad tension. Good pattern, bad timing. Good dream, bad color against my ruddy skin. My current thought is a red vest, but I don't have enough yarn. So I need to stop at the shop, get more yarn... maybe in a different color... for the vest. The stitch definition is precise. I wish my knitting was worthy of the yarn.

I knitted some fuzzy swatches for the pocket of a friend. She likes to fondle something soft in her pocket. (wow that sounded wicked). For many years, she has carried bits of her childhood blanket. I hope these bits are soft enough to help calm her.

New Blog - like a clean notebook.

So much potential, yet, so much expectation.

Current project is an acrylic baby blanket. Almost done, only a few dozen rows left.

This weekend I get the DSL back, and I can salvage the e-mail accounts. When I gave up on DSL two months ago, I went to dial up. It worked well for me, but the teen wants DSL. Her pictures download slowly. ARggghhh.

For now, my e-mail (the new one that I will keep,) is julie.klein@sbcglobal.net.
Pretty similar to the last one.. I know. And I hope to retrieve those messages. Although it would be nice to lose a few spammers.

My goal is to post pictures to this blog. So many things are going on. I've never been to Disney World. It seems like everyone else in the universe has been there, either as a child, with a child, or with a child-like spouse. The virtual husband and I are going to FL with my daughter and her friend next spring. There's a side trip to Orlando planned. I'm doing the web research, I'm talking to those who've been. It's a Small World will be open again.

Heck, I'm working out so I'll be in good shape when I go. Saving $$ for the kid's college, our trip, and ... wow... I am ready to go. No vacations for me. I'm keeping the days off to a minimum, so I can cash them out for the trip, the college fund, etc.

So that's it. I'm stopping at my favorite knitting shop on the way home. I hope to find something... that will blend in with my stash.

ta ta for now... ttfn.... jules
